Korea Republic National Football Team (FIFA ranking 61st) that will participate in FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 lost to Bosnia-Herzegovina (FIFA ranking 41st) by the score of 1-3.
Korea Republic team was defeated by Bosnia-Herzegovina at the International Friendly hosted by KEB Hana Bank held at Jeonju World Cup Stadium on the 1st of June. Winning against Honduras last 28th by the score of 2-0, Team Korea failed to overcome the finishing of Bosnia-Herzegovina. 41,254 home fans came to Jeonju to see this day’s opening match for the World Cup.
Head coach SHIN Taeyong will announce the final entry list of 23 players on June 2nd, excluding three of current 26 players. Team Korea will then head off to Austria, playing matches with Bolivia on 7th (open to public) and with Senegal on 11th (not open to public). After these two matches, Korea Republic Team will enter Russia and play group stage matches with Sweden (18th), Mexico (24th) and Germany (27th), fighting to make their way to Round of 16.
