The team was able to level the losing game with two consecutive goals at the second half. However the last minute screamer by Zielinski concluded the game 2-3.

The national team lined up in 3-4-3 formation with SON Heungmin at the tip of the 3 strikers and KWON Changhoon and LEE Jaesung at each sides. PARK Jooho, JUNG Wooyoung, KI Sungyueng and LEE Yong formed a flat line in the midfield. HONG Jeongho, JANG Hyunsoo and KIM Minjae were at the back and KIM Seunggyu was at the goal.

Although the national team lost another game after 1-2 defeat against Northern Ireland on March 24, coach SHIN was able to get answers on how to operate the games against Sweden and Germany at the World Cup. The squad is returning to Korea on March 29.
