SHIN’s NT loses to Northern Ireland 1-2

Korea Republic National Football Team lost 1-2 to Northern Ireland in an international friendly held at Windsor Park, Belfast, Northern Ireland
The national team lined up in 4-3-3 formation against Northern Ireland, with KIM Shinwook playing the classic ‘9’ role at the front and SON Heungmin and KWON Changhoon supporting the attack from each sides. KI Sungyeung at the midfield played as a linker between the lines.
Korea took the lead with KWON Changhoon’s goal at the 7th minute but KIM Minjae’s own goal at the 20th minute leveled the game. Northern Ireland’s new player Paul Smyth eventually scored the winning goal 5 minutes before his debut game ended.
Korea is playing another international friendly against Poland on March 28 at Chorzuw, Poland.
