NT beats Japan, wins 2 consecutive championships

Korea Republic Men's National Football Team led by Shin Taeyong beat Japan 4-1 in the 3rd round of 2017 EAFF E-1 Football Championship held at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo, Japan on 16th of December. It is the victory over Japan after 7 years and 7 months since May 2010 in international friendly at Saitama Stadiim.
Though Korea Republic conceded a PK goal in the first 3 minutes of the match, Shin's team quickly got back to normal and produced 3 goals which were 2 from Kim Sinwook, 1 superb free-kick from Jung Wooyoung in the first half. Korea Republic finished the match 4-1 adding an free-kick goal from Yeom Kihun substituted in the second half.
Korea Republic which finally recorded 2win-1draw won 2 consecutive championship title.
