’CHO Youngwook’s Hat Trick’ U-18 NT hit the jackpot with a 11-0 win over Brunei Darussala

Korea Republic U-18 National Football Team completed a great victory, with a score of 11-0, against Brunei Darussala in the first round of the 2018 AFC U-19 Championship Group F Qualifiers, which was held in Paju Stadium.
Korea Republic outdid Brunei throughout the game. The player, Cho Youngwook (Korea Univ.) managed to pull off a hat trick. Lee SangJun (Gaesung High School), scored 2 goals and performed 3 assists, along with the many various other players that scored winning points for the team. Korea Republic will have another game against Indonesia on November 4th, at 3pm in the same place.
While using 4-4-2 formation, Cho Youngwook and Kim Chan (Pocheol High School) played as the forwards. Midfielders were Lim Jaehyuk, Go Jaehyeon (Daeryun HS), Kim Jungmin (Geumho HS), and Lee Sangjun (Gaesung HS). The backers included Kept by Shin Jaeuk (Yuseong HS), Chea Heewon (Youngsaeng HS), Ko Junhee (Boin HS), Kim and Taehwan (Maetan HS). Lee Kwangyeon (Tongjin HS) played as the goalkeeper.
Korea finished the first half with a score of 3-0. They then proceeded to score 8 more goals in the second half, leaving the opposing team in the dust! Lim Jaehyuk and Cho Youngwook had 2 more goals each. Lee Kangin, Jeong Hojin, Kim Hyunwoo each scored one goal. In the 66th minute, substitute Lee Kangin had the attention of the crowd, scoring a 7th goal with his fancy dribbling and incisive passing! Korea’s soccer team took over the field with a landslide win of 11-0, amazing fans and onlookers.
