Better known as 'Chabum', he is the incomparable footballer in the Korean football history. Since his debut in 1972 at the age of 19, he remained as the best striker in national football team squad until 1986 World Cup Mexico. His strength was speed and powerful shooting skills, and he capped 121 national team matches and scored 55 goals during his national team career. He also enjoyed 10-year playing career in German Bundesliga, capped 308 matches and scored 98 goals, winning the UEFA Cup in 1980 and 1988.

The former Manchester United star, also the most decorated Korean footballer in the 21st century made his national team debut at the age of 18 in the year of 1999. Park Jisung was known for his work rate which made him to be seen as if he is playing whole midfield. After 3 years at Kyoto Purple Sanga of J-league, he moved to PSV Eindhoven by his 2002 World Cup coach Guus Hiddink. Afterwards, the former Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson brought him to Old Trafford in 2005 and Park spent 7 years as a member of one of the world’s most famous football clubs. He announced his retirement from national football team in 2011 and returned to PSV in 2013. May 2014, he ended his professional career as a player.
